Welcome! The Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin, Inc. looks forward to having you join us for our
12TH ANNUAL BUDDY WALK
The Buddy Walk is designed not only to help raise funds, but also to help raise awareness and promote inclusion, diversity and acceptance of Down syndrome, as well as, strive to guarantee access to a full life for all individuals with Down syndrome, their families and friends. We place priority on support and education, delivering quality programs and services, & maximizing available resources.
Please Join us for a family-friendly, fun-filled day at the Milwaukee County Zoo on Sunday, September 28th (12:00 - 3:00 rain or shine), registration includes:
- All Day Zoo Admittance and Parking ~Zoo hours 9AM - 6PM
- T-shirt*
- Activities, Snacks, DSAW Marketplace and Live Entertainment before and after the Walk

- Raffles & Silent Auction

- Scenic 1.5 Mile stroll through the beautiful Milwaukee County Zoo!

Mention Buddy Walk at the Gate Entrance AND mention if you are a VOLUNTEER, they will direct you to the Maple Cove and Oak Grove picnic sites! Tickets are availabile in advance at the DSAW office M-F 9AM to 1PM
*Pre-registration is encouraged on-line before September 5th! Day of Walk registration at the Zoo is accepted and begins at Noon along with check-in. Discounted Zoo Attraction Tickets will be available for purchase at check-in (i.e.: Train, Zoo-Mobile, Sting Ray Exhibit, etc.).
**To ensure current/up-to-date team fundraising totals, ALL donations and registrations MUST BE COMPLETED on-line by Thursday, September 25th @ 5:00 p.m. Additional donations and registrations can be completed at the Walk.**

HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT DSAW'S 12TH ANNUAL BUDDY WALK?
SPONSOR A WALKER: In the toolbar to your right, locate the personal fundraising page by entering the last name into the SEARCH box or by clicking on "view all fundraisers." Go to the fundraising page and press the SPONSOR US NOW button.
REGISTER TO WALK/JOIN A TEAM: Click on GET STARTED and choose the "WALKER Registration" link, or find your team in the tool bar to your right.
CREATE A FUNDRAISING PAGE: AFTER REGISTRATION, follow the instructions to set up your own fundraising page. Any individual/group can do so! Link your fundraising page to your Team when prompted. NON-WALKERS can create a fundraising page by clicking on GET STARTED, then "FUNDRAISER ONLY".
EMAIL EVERYONE YOU KNOW: Direct people to this website (www.firstgiving.com/dsaw) or your team's personal fundraising page and ask them to sponsor and register to walk.

OFF-LINE REGISTRATION: You may drop-off or mail the completed registration form from your DSAW Buddy Walk brochure with fee to the DSAW office located at 9401 West Beloit Road, Suite 311, Milwaukee, WI 53227. Office hours: M-F 9AM-1PM. Checks made payable to DSAW. You can also register by contacting the DSAW office directly at (414)327-3729.
